We're hiring a data engineer to make detailed business intelligence data robust and easily accessible across FloodFlash.

Our data engineer will:

  • Be responsible for the business intelligence data infrastructure at FloodFlash, including:
    • maintaining pipelines from our key data sources using Fivetran and dbt (and building custom connections where needed)
    • owning all our data cleansing and transformation processes
    • managing the FF data warehouse, including technology choices, schema design, security and scalability, ensuring it can develop to meet changing business needs
    • selecting and managing BI tool(s)
    • codifying the infrastructure (e.g. scripts) and documenting everything
  • Work with data analysts and other team leads to understand their requirements, and help them use data in regular reporting and decision-making.
  • Work with the CTO on technology selections and administrative best practices for all things data at FloodFlash.

The starting salary range for this role is £30,000 to £60,000, plus company equity (shares).
